On 25th October, 2025, a conference with the theme “Connecting the World with Water, Creating the Future with Intelligence – China Africa Water Association and Shunyu Water Co., Ltd. Jointly Building a New Water Ecosystem” was successfully held. It was organized by the China Africa Water Association (CAWA) and hosted by Shunyu Water Co., Ltd (Shunyu Co., Ltd) in Anhui. With objective of promoting innovation and international cooperation, the conference established an important platform for the collaborative progress of the global water sector. The unveiling ceremony of the Water Supply and Drainage Professional Committee of the China Africa Water Association thus stood as the key outcome of the conference.
Co-chaired by Professor Yongxin Xu from CAWA and Mr. Jie Deng, General Manager of the International Business Department of Shunyu Co., Ltd, the conference brought together many experts, scholars and international students from universities and water affairs institutions worldwide.
During the conference, the guests gained a further understanding of the company’s comprehensive capabilities on Integrated Water Supply Solutions, Integrated Water Environment Solutions, manufacturing of Core Product and Equipments and Intelligent operation and maintenance services and so on. They highly commended Shunyu Co., Ltd. ‘s long-term innovation and strong sense of mission in the water industry.
The most significant outcome of the conference was the official establishment of Water Supply and Drainage Professional Committee of CAWA, with its secretariat positioned at Shunyu Co., Ltd. This serves as a testament to CAWA’s full recognition of Shunyu Co., Ltd.’s technical strength, practical experience, and resource integration capabilities in water supply and drainage.
As part of enhanced cooperation, Shunyu Co., Ltd. formally appointed Professor Yongxin Xu, Secretary General of the CAWA, to the role of “Expert Advisor.” Meanwhile, the other important development is that CAWA supported Shunyu Co., Ltd. to establish “CAWA Science Education Base,” center, with an on-site plaque presentation to solidify the shared commitment to water science education and professionals training.
As part of the exchange, Shunyu Co., Ltd. discussed cutting-edge technologies and market opportunities with global colleagues. The company showcased practical and innovative models of key technologies of water supply and drainage under urban renewal, presenting a “Shunyu solution” with a global perspective for the industry.
The successful conference marks a key milestone in the partnership between Shunyu Co., Ltd. and CAWA, serving as a model for cross-regional and cross-sectoral cooperation in the water industry and a crucial step by Shunyu Co., Ltd. toward building a global water ecosystem.
In the future, Shunyu Co., Ltd. will use this collaboration as a catalyst to maximize its platform advantages and specialized resource integration. We will convene industry partners to jointly pioneer new models for the water ecosystem.
